Award mention
- Hullaballoo Wolfowitz removed an award nomination from this article, but I reinstated it. This went back and forth until HW removed it a third time, which I decided to not revert because I didn't want to violate WP:3RR myself. Does anyone else have any problem with my explanations in the edit summaries? Erpert blah, blah, blah... 04:04, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
- I agree with the awards inclusion in the article. So what if it doesn't contribute to the notability of the subject? Neither do scene-related and ensemble categories and they are allowed to be mentioned in articles. Consensus seems in favor of the inclusion of all awards in articles. Rebecca1990 (talk) 07:45, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
- No, consensus doesn't favor inclusion of those awards. you know that discussion did not establish consensus, and the admin who took action there said quite clearly "This is not the place to establish that that consensus. Multiple experienced editors opposed the awards' inclusion, and treated them as non-noteworthy promotional content which BLP and RS policy called for removal of. The discussion you cite for a nonexistent consensus actually resulted in a temporary block of Hanswar32 for repeatedly adding back such awards to articles after their removal, and a call from admin MoonriddenGirl for "finding some central and appropriate point to resolve the discussion." Rather than doing that, Hanswar32 simply waited a few weeks, then resumed their disruptive behavior. Nothing has changed, and adding back this promotional content, sourced only to company press releases and presskit pieces, should not be done unless you can gain consensus after an appropriate centralized discussion. And there's also a discussion running on film-related awards generally, where consensus is running against the "inclusion of all awards" notion, in favor of more restrictive criteria. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 12:35, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
- The temporary block did not occur as a result of the discussion. It occurred immediately before the discussion and was lifted as a result of the discussion. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz is correct about MoonriddenGirl's advice about finding a central point to resolve the matter, however Rebecca1990's point is valid and still stands since the discussion that does exist, although not central, showed the majority shifting towards the inclusion of the award. Believe me, I did not wait a few weeks nor would I have the patience to wait a few weeks before adding any awards, and the articles I've been editing are different to the ones in which the original dispute developed from. As time passed, yes, I decided to test the waters with certain awards and decided to let go of adding Juliland and TLA Raw awards (although I disagree), but found that inclusion of AEBN VOD and other awards didn't seem to provoke much controversy. Interestingly enough, this shows my intentions on trying to compromise and avoid "disruptive behavior" as Hullaballoo puts it, and in fact, the only behavior I and many other editor's I've seen (Rebecca1990, Scalhotrd, Erpert and others) is coming from the person dishing out the accusation. As to regards to the discussion for this article specifically, obviously I agree with Erpert and Rebecca1990 for the inclusion of the award. Hanswar32 (talk) 14:19, 13 February 2014 (UTC)

I've restored the awards table to prior to the pointy edits by scenicview1 (talk · contribs) as shown by the following edit rationale: [1] in responding to [2] given the following complained about[3]. I don't disagree with culling the table based on WP:UNDUE or WP:INDISCRIMINATE, but this was not the way to do it. I heavily suggest scenicview1 refrain from making any further edits to this article given his inexplicable pointed obsession with it.[4] Morbidthoughts (talk) 06:05, 29 September 2017 (UTC)

Article issues
The notability of this subject needs to be examined. Otr500 (talk) 22:25, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
- I have previously removed some pretty questionable unsourced content from this article. Under normal circumstances, if somebody says a biography of a woman is not necessarily notable, I would ping Megalibrarygirl and ask her to give it a spruce up. I would rather work on articles like Annie Jump Cannon with her, but we can only work with what we're given and the article has been a complete BLP-violating train wreck, so there's no harm in asking. Or we could just send it back to AfD. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 21:08, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- I can try to work on this later, but I know that on the weekend I can be a slow editor, Ritchie333 and this seems like a slow weekend. :) BTW, I have some good sources for Annie that I'd like to add. Megalibrarygirl (talk) 23:50, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- I know the feeling. As long as someone is working on it then slow is alright. There just needs to be more to a biography than an embedded list of "Awards and nominations". I didn't look at things close enough to offer an opinion on an AFD and will leave that up to one of you. Thank you, Otr500 (talk) 00:11, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Megalibrarygirl and Ritchie333: The problem here is, she has won 4 notable awards, 3 of which are "solo"/"personal" ie not ensemble. That makes her pass WP:PORNBIO. So we cant delete the article even through AfD. I am a lot busy IRL till Oct 20th (i hope), but i will definitely work on it as soon as I am done with the task atbp my hands. And once this article is in good shape, I can resume Anna's article. Meanwhile, if somebody helps with Malkova's article, it would be appreciated a lot. —usernamekiran(talk) (pings not coming in, not going through) 06:40, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
