Masoala is either Masoala peninsula, Cape Masoala or the town of Masoala. It is no island. Andres (talk) 00:50, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to modify it to reflect that. The way the source was written, it looked like it an island was meant. In future feel free to be bold and make the change, but thank you for notifying me, I'm very grateful. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 18:55, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It is uncomfortable to edit for me as I don't know all the conventions of the English Wikipedia as I stopped active editing here years ago. Please do take care of it. I give you the necessary data. Masoala as the place name may mean: 1) a village (which should probably be under this title), 2) the Masoala Peninsula, or 3) Cape Masoala [1]. Probably, the most known thing called Masoala is the Masoala National Park. The latter also includes the Masoala Marine Park. Masoala is also a plant genus with the species Masoala kona and Masoala madagascariensis. And there is an animal species Masoala Fork-crowned Lemur. There should be a disambiguation page, and perhaps some title should be changed. Andres (talk) 05:17, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So I did it myself. Andres (talk) 06:54, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looks fine, too. Good job. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 10:11, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
