Not copyright violation[edit]

I have restored the copyright violation template as a matter of procedure, as the contributing editor is not supposed to remove the template. ("do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself.") Although the material contained in this article is a direct copy, I think the editor who contributed it is probably right in saying it's out of copyright. The original text is from a contemporary fan publication, and Mary Maurice has been dead since 1918, which places the publication before that date.

I think the copy and paste nature of the edits has created a strange article, in which the long-dead actress comments in the present tense, but I don't think copyright is the problem. Rossrs (talk) 14:45, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
