What is the qualifying criteria for a Sikh martyr?[edit]
The following line from the article makes it seem that literally any Sikh person who died is considered a martyr. Is this accurate or is there a more specific reason as to what constitutes a martyr in Sikhi?
- And many more who died in the Hill States–Sikh Wars, Early Mughal-Sikh Wars, Mughal-Sikh Wars, Wadda ghallughara, Chotta gallughara and the 1984 Sikh massacre.
