I'll review this over the next few days. Jamesx12345 20:40, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • What exactly does "begins in strip mines" mean?
  • "It Gilberton, the creek" - is this "In Gilberton, the creek"?
  • Yes, that was a typo. I've fixed it. --Jakob (talk) 20:26, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Two more general points: the citations aren't entirely internally consistent - {{cite map}}, for example, could be employed, and there aren't any images. Neither of these points are strictly necessary for GA, provided the references look fine to the reader. A map would be great, however, if there was one available.
  • @Jamesx12345: I think all the references use {{citation}}. Wouldn't changing that make it less consistent? I might be able to take a picture, but I'm not optimistic. --Jakob (talk) 22:48, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • "North Mahanoy Creek starts in unpolluted springs on..." - lots of short sentences, could do with some copyediting.
  • The paragraph should be worded better now. --Jakob (talk) 22:48, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • "quantities of iron and aluminum in the waters" - this is potentially misleading - it is likely to be oxides of those elements that are present in the water, which are quite different chemically.
  • Those metals are dissolved. I've clarified that. --Jakob (talk) 22:48, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • "ranging from 29,200 liters per minute down to 680 liters per minute" - "of between 29,200 and 680 liters per minute."
  • I implemented the change you suggested. --Jakob (talk) 22:48, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • There is a huge amount of information about the chemical composition of the water in various parts of the system. Is there any way a table could be used instead?
  • Well, in my opinion a table would be kind of ugly, especially if it has only two columns and dozens of rows (as would probably be the case here). I was able to avoid having to do this in this GAN. --Jakob (talk) 22:48, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • What is Atmospheric disposition?
  • I've added a definition. --Jakob (talk) 22:48, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • "although some fish" - this doesn't seem to follow.
  • Changed although to but. --Jakob (talk) 22:48, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for being so quick in addressing queries. I'll try and get back to it faster this time, but I've hardly been around for the past two weeks and might be occupied for a little longer. Thanks, Jamesx12345 22:40, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
