Neutrality, fringe aspects
[edit]Hornig's work has been severely criticized by some mainstream voices as pseudoscientific and ethically questionable. You wouldn't know that from reading the article. Alexbrn talk|contribs|COI 10:53, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
Work-Related Lawsuit against Columbia Colleague Ian Lipkin
[edit]Does the sex discrimination lawsuit by Dr. Hornig against her Columbia colleague Ian Lipkin and the Trustees of the University have any place in either the article or on the talk page? Evidently the suit did make it to at least the initial procedures in court.[1] [2]
I don't know the suit's final outcome, that is, whether it was dropped or went to a verdict, and if the latter, what the verdict was. The primary news source (reference below), the journal "Science," seems on its face broadly reputable, and the basic facts of the report reliable, though this is not at all the same as to say the allegations reported are even minimally accurate. Dr. Hornig's work is extremely controversial. She is under suspicion of committing very serious abuse of her laboratory mice for political reasons and personal gain. The questions are developed here:http://autismdiva.blogspot.com/2006/03/nightmare-at-columbia-u-return-of-rain.html
