MLX Translation Engine?

[edit]

Hunting down an interesting problem in Chinese-English translation tonight, I ran across a reference to "MLX" alongside Bing and Google.

(The actual problem was 就会合成, which is correctly something like "will synthesize," and for which looking at just the "就会" and calling it "celebration any-damn-thing" is a machine error.)

This is the first time I've ever seen it, and there are zero, none, nil hits for it on Google!

This is also the week in which the very adventurous, and pretty damn good but still flaky, Google Translate is switching over to their British Go-Weichi-winning artificial intelligence engine, so clearly things are moving fast in computer translation.

Anyway: MLX, folks?
