Tagged for notability[edit]

Based on the googling I've done, I don't think this play meets the Wikipedia:Notability guidelines. It appears to have been performed once, at the high school for which it was commissioned, and have had an unstaged reading or two elsewhere. I can find no professional critical reviews, and a dead link to the school's own newsletter's review. If no reliable, third-party, published sources surface, this article might become a candidate for deletion or merge with Caridad_Svich.

I think when I originally created the article, you would have been correct that it didn't meet notability requirements. However, it has since been performed by Equity actors, albeit only as a staged reading, but that is still something notable, at least in my opinion. (There are no established notability requirements for plays, as far as I know, so we just have to go off the general requirements.) I've found this source as well. Granted, the sources are not print sources, but the notability requirement specifically makes the point that the sources need not be a specific medium. A published source is defined as one that is made available to the public, whether through a website, newspaper, academic journal, or some other medium.
Yes, it's a tough call, but I think the play just barely meets the notability requirements. Of course, I'm a little biased, having created the article, but I'll be first to admit that it didn't meet the requirements when I created it! -- Cielomobile talk / contribs 01:55, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
