Separate page for the Local Government Area[edit]

About rail services at Liverpool Railway Station[edit]

I have reworded a sentence that claims that there are frequent rail services. This is only true during part of the peak periods. Also, as of 2008, there are only two rail services on the Cumberland Line to Parramatta on weekdays (there are three services in the afternoon peak for the return trip). Also, the Cumberland Line services seem to be canceled very frequently but I have not been able to find a published article that confirms this. 122.105.147.73 (talk) 11:52, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Results in 2007 Election[edit]

There were 3 booths in Liverpool at the 07 election. Liverpool west public, Liverpool health service and Liverpool public school which is the biggest booth. At Liverpool West public it was 68.63% to Labor, Liverpool health service was 74.15% and Liverpool public was 71.35%.^[1]

So all three booths in the Liverpool suburb had very similar numbers. However if you want the exact number of votes when counting those 3 booths, which would give the number of votes in Liverpool as a whole, it is 2792 Labor and 1147 Liberal. There's nothing wrong with including this information as long as it's balanced, well researched and referenced. There were actually five booths in Liverpool at the 07 election. There was also Marsden Road in Hughes plus the Liverpool South booth in Werriwa. Two of the booths used in Hughes were also joint booths with Werriwa so in total there were seven lots of numbers. Liverpool is served by a full time radio station 89.3FM 2GLF which broadcasts local information, music and ethnic programming. It is one of the first FM radio stations setup in the early 80s.

Cities in Sydney[edit]

I have removed from the opening paragraph "It is also acknowledged on the register of the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales as one of only four cities within the Sydney metropolitan area.^[1]" as the reference clearly shows that there are many many more Cities within the Sydney Metropolitan Area. There are four Cities within the South Western Sydney area alone, and as there are only seven entries for that area, this is probably not notable.
