Colliding Rivers??[edit]

I think the claim “only place where two rivers meet head-on” is rather spurious, despite being cited. Stony Creek and Grindstone Creek in northern California also run into each other head on, one from the south and one from the north. The name might be misleading but they’re both river-sized. The Green River merges with the Colorado at about an 85 degree angle, but it’s steep enough that they could be considered to be “colliding”. Another candidate might be the Klamath and Scott rivers in California but I’d doubt that. Really it should be checked. Shannon ^talk _contribs 20:56, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Agree with you. The cited source didn't support the claim. I found one that did and added it, but the claim seems unlikely despite the weak support. I will remove it. Finetooth (talk) 00:18, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
