I don't know why, but when I run a simple query for all instances of subclasses of star systems between 75 and 80 light years from earth, I get a somewhat different list. https://w.wiki/3wR5 Vexations (talk) 16:05, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Concerns on accuracy

There seems to be a systematic error affecting some, but not all, of the stars in the list.

Having made the HD 127334 article, I noticed some inconsistencies between the list entry and some published literature: this paper states that it is a G-type star without any known planets, whereas the old version of this article listed it as a K-type star with one exoplanet. The brightness and distance were also inaccurate. Furthermore, the SIMBAD entry for HD 169009 shows it's a blue giant (B9III) located some 400 ly away (calculated from parallax), rather than a G-dwarf 76 ly away (as such, I removed the object from the list). Perhaps there are more stars with entirely wrong information in this list, or some that shouldn't be included here at all.

I assume someone mistakenly took data from the wrong stars, in which case I have no clue where they originated from (as the two I found lacked citations), or what stars they were meant to represent.
