Data Approach[edit]
In order to modernise this page I've revised the entries based on two criteria;
- Import all entries from the bio.tools registry matching either *Protein subcellular localisation prediction* or *Protein subcellular localization prediction*
- Restore previous data from this page without an entry in 1)
bio.tools data is accessible by a REST API (http://biotools.readthedocs.io/), and permissible to be used under a CC-BY license (http://biotools.readthedocs.io/en/latest/license.html). This imports a large number of relevant tools to the page.
More information available from bio.tools could be useful for this page: Tool Type, Operating System, Author etc however a more robust method for importing will be required if the contents of the Tools subsection is to be made fully automated, otherwise older entries may get clobbered.
Recommended approach in the short term is to compare entires in bio.tools against current content and update manually.
