"Shockwave"[edit]

I'm curious, please show me the press release or other verifiable information regarding the former Batman:The Escape reconstruction. While I'm not saying you are or are not wrong, the information should not be placed here until it is official, because until then its really only speculation. Thanks. →ClarkCTTalk @ 20:01, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ride missing in Flat Rides list?[edit]

I recall, from the mid to late 1980s, an indoor ride that was a round room. It would take somwhere from 12 to 16 riders at a time, who would stand inside the room with their backs against the wall. The room would then spin along a precisely vertical axis to the point where it generated enough gs to pin the riders against the wall. Then, the floor would drop about 10 feet below the riders, rising only in time for the ride's stop. Strobe lights and very loud music added to the effect. I don't see it in the rides list, and given that it's now 20 years ago, I definitely can no longer remember its name. I'd love to know whether it still exists. --Jstreutker (talk) 21:51, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The generic term for that ride is Gravitron. I don't recall ever seeing it at Darien Lake. Powers T 12:35, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The year that Thrillbilly was removed[edit]

Now, i'm confused about what year did Darien Lake removed Thrillbilly, was in 1984 or was in 1990 to make room for The Predator? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gekijyu (talkcontribs) 00:18, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
