Can someone help me make seperate character pages for all of the characters? I can provide links to sites for information and pictures. It would be appreciated. --Ramirez

I think that the individual characters ought to remain on one page; see WP:FICT for semi-official Wikipedia policy on the subject of minor fictional characters. A couple of other SoA articles would have already been deleted if they hadn't been merged into a larger article. -Sean Curtin 04:48, Jun 10, 2005 (UTC)

If Vigoro is an Admiral of the Valulan Armada, why don't we put him in the section for those characters? --68.215.239.231 17:38, 18 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Marco[edit]

Marco is an orphan that Vyse, Aika, and Drachma meet in Valua's lower city. He is very rude to them. When they talk about their plans to break in to the colliseum to save the other Blue Rogues, he eavesdrops and runs off. Fearing that he will tell the Valuan authorities, the party decides to chase after him. When they catch Marco, Drachma literally wants to kill him, to which Marco replies that he wouldn't mind dying. Drachma says, "Good, then you have no regrets." However, Aika and Vyse prevent Drachma from killing him. Marco then says that he lives in the sewers and knows a path through them that leads to the Colliseum, but says that their plan is hopeless. Vyse tells Marco that he should be there when he breaks in to the Colisseum. When Marco sees Vyse break into the colisseum as promised, he opens up a passage in the sewers to shelter the newly rescued rogues. Even after seeing this, Marco still doesn't believe that Vyse can escape from Valua; and after Vyse defeats the executioner, Marco explains that his parents died trying to escape from Valua and warns Vyse to give up. Vyse replies by launching into the longest of his "never give up" speeches, and saying goodbye to Marco as he makes his way to the train station.

The next time the player sees Marco is when he is discovered as a stowaway in the Delphinus. When found, he joins as the first crew member. Marco is known for his mucous, which he flicks at enemies during the crew command.

Do we really need all this (poorly written) detail on such a minor character? We're not here to retell the entire story though copy & pasting bits of the script. -- Steel 16:30, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was in a hurry when I wrote that, so that's why the writing is not high-quality. I agree that script insertion is probably not a good idea, so I would definitely eliminate the Drachma quote.
While you're critiquing my recent additions, I hope someone remembers the names of all the Yufotoman characters I mentioned in the Moegi section.
I'm thinking of adding a "black pirates" section, although I would give a sentence at most to the ones that are only in the gamecube version. -- Todemo
I don't think we need more than a couple of lines, if that, for crew members. Would it be possible to cut down that Marco section? -- Steel 17:17, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I greatly shortened the Marco section.

How about this rule of thumb: for every two important scenes a character plays an important role in, they get three sentences in their character description. This would get halved for unimportant scenes, and halved for scenes where the character says only one line or so. For example, Galcian is in 15 scenes, and he plays an important role in all of them, and pretty much all of them are important, so he gets about 23 sentences. -- Todemo

That's making a big fuss over something very small. Just keep minor characters to 2 or 3 lines and not worry about working out how many scenes they're in, then dividing that by Pi or whatever. -- Steel 21:29, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fina and Cupil[edit]

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Final Cupil's attack exceed that of the Vorlik Blade?

Crewmembers[edit]

As a solution to my restlessness and as a nice addition to this page, I'm adding an italicized section to each crew member entitled "Blue Rogues Special". Each member either attacks or heals; I think that adding this info is useful. Paul Haymon 01:28, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, it would be nice if there was a similar thing done for their abilities while on the Delphinus.

I don't think it's redundant or unnecessary to have these things. For one thing, this info was there previously in the characters' profiles; it just hasn't been organized uniformly. Help is appreciated. Paul Haymon 01:54, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Age[edit]

How do we know some of the characters' ages? I know how Vyse, Aika, Fina, and Ramirez's ages are known, but what about the others? For instance, where does it say that Belleza is in her 30's? Is there any proof in the age? Because appearance may not mean that is their age. --71.118.81.153 23:26, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

They're mostly guesses, we do not know Enrique's age... don't know who came up with that one. Also Belleze looks more in her mid 20s, same for Vigoro. I also corrected Marco's bio, he "goes on to become" first admiral of the new Armada, not right after the game, he'd be 13-5... kid still picks his nose..

In-game ambiguities[edit]

Is it worth mentioning some of the in-game ambiguities in the article? For instance, how did Fina and Ramirez, who appear to be pure Silvites, come into existance on a station of only men? Was Fina cloned from a dead Silvite woman? Another thing that is unclear in the game is how there can be a day/night cycle when there is no sun. Thirdly, it would appear that there is a race of humans for every moon (the blue rogues would be members of the yellow race even though they live under the silver moon) EXCEPT purple. Of course, we can probably assume they were wiped out in the rains of destruction.

If we're not going to discuss those ambiguities in the article, I think we should shorten or take out the speculation about why Ramirez has a Spanish name when he wasn't originally Valuan. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.252.107.160 (talk) 03:48, 8 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Just because there was no purple race seen on screen, does not mean that they do not exist, as someone had to build all those discoveries. I also imagine that Fina and Ramirez may be a lot older than they seem, as seen by the elders, age affects the Silvites very differently than it does regular humans (Arcadians). This is a fantasy world, so it does not follow any scientific and or astronomical rules... as if it did, the 6 moons would obviously have to rotate around Arcadia, thus making it impossible for them to maintain their constant position over one stretch of land IE: Blue Moon over Yafutoma, Yellow Moon over Valua, etc.

Ramirez cleanup[edit]

I have partially edited the Ramirez acticle to correct it. whoever wrote it didn't have a clue what they were talking about, claiming that in the Legends Version only, the player battled Ramirez 3 times at the end, when the exact same thing happens in the original version.
