"Liberal-Unionist" Senate Appointments?[edit]

Under the broad column "Party" is the sub-column heading "L-U" [Liberal-Unionist], with which a single Senator is listed & cited to be Senator Stan Waters [Canada's first Reform Party of Canada Senator] - this needs to be corrected. He was not a "Liberal-Unionist". Since there are no other "Liberal-Unionist" Senators in the column listing, this column heading could be removed entirely & replaced with "RPC" [Reform Party of Canada].

Furthermore, there is no explanation for the inclusion of the "L-P" [Liberal-Progressive] column - there are no listing of appointed Senate seats to this 'party' - or the "#", "%" & "#" sub-columns under the broad "Party" column. Is there a reason for their inclusion?

The chart is inaccurate. According to the Parliamentary website there were two Unionist (Liberal) senators link and one Liberal-Progressive link Vale of Glamorgan (talk) 02:27, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Combining Conservatives[edit]

I don't like how the Conservative column includes affiliations with the current Conservative Party, the Progressive Conservative party, and the old pre-1942 Conservative party. They are similar in name but they are all distinct parties and should be separated out. Reform gets its own column alongside Conservative; Progressive Conservative should as well.
