Cut-and-paste rename[edit]

Anonymous, you apparently created a new Sacramento entertainers (lowercase) page rather than renaming the existing Sacramento Entertainers (uppercase) page. And the same with Sacramento Writers, Sacramento Sports Figures, and Sacramento Criminals.

This is not the right way to go about it.

The appropriate titles, by the way, would probably be List of Sacramento entertainers, etc. Squib 18:42, 8 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Clint Eastwood[edit]

I have never heard or, after looking, seen any Sacramento connection for Eastwood. Squib 18:42, 8 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

What qualifies an entry?[edit]

I removed a few local acts as I assume that this list is only for Sacramento entertainers of note, otherwise we would have a listing of every single local band, musician, actor, etc that has ever set foot in Sacramento. DFS (talk) 02:59, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Governor Schwarzenegger[edit]

I removed Arnold. He has never lived in Sacramento. Do we want to add everyone who has ever served in government as a "Sacramento resident"? Anyone want to discuss this? DFS (talk) 05:59, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Papa Roach[edit]

I believe they're from Vacaville, as their article page reflects. Did any of the members grow up in Sacramento? Vacaville is not within Sacramento County. (Edit: I went ahead and removed them) 2602:306:CC95:B20:D1:85A0:8847:46D0 (talk) 01:37, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merging excessive notable people articles[edit]

The three articles: List of Sacramento writers, List of Sacramento sports figures, and List of Sacramento entertainers are excessive, especially when New York and San Francisco only have one article (List of people from New York City and List of people from San Francisco). The three articles have been merged into one article, List of people from Sacramento.

If someone could help clean it up and organize it for accuracy with properly cited sources, that'd be appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cheezesatzu (talkcontribs) 19:42, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
