Hutchinson

Since Hutchinson is running himself, should he really count? If he does count wouldn't Haley, and Scott, and more than likely DeSantis count too? Dickeyaustin786 (talk) 06:13, 21 May 2023 (UTC)

Endorsements of other GOP candidates

Should people who endorse other candidates be included in this list? Their endorsement of another GOP candidate isn't necessarily an opposition to Trump. Further, should even his oppositional candidates appear on this list? The other GOP candidates, by them running, feel they are either qualified to be president over the other candidates or could push for policy. But it also doesn't mean that they necessarily oppose a second Trump candidacy. If a source says that a person explicitly opposes Trump by name, I think that's the inclusion criteria. Suggested addition

I think David Jolly, former US Representative from Florida's 13th District (Pinellas County, St. Petersburg), and frequent commentator on MSNBC, defector from the Republican Party and critic of Donald Trump, is prominent enough to warrant inclusion in this list of Republicans who oppose Donald Trump's 2024 campaign. 2Doogman (talk) 21:07, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
