Episode List sort order

[edit]

Most, if not all, episode lists on Wikipedia are listed in the date they aired, not the date "they happened". However, I'm willing to listen to your stance, but you will have to explain where you are getting this information about the order and why you believe it should be listed "as it happened". Until you explain it and get consensus on the change, please leave the order by the date it aired. Gogo Dodo 04:14, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm all for sorting the episode list by airdates - following real world chronology makes more sense than following fictional world chronology in this sense. --Jtalledo (talk) 16:59, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, look! Did it ever occur to you that the numbers put in the order shows a cronological way? That's where I've been getting this information. However, there were some errors so I corrected them.In fact, there still are some errors for me to correct. 68.164.81.97, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Hello all, I just got the series and after a few episode I looked this up to see if i was missing some of the episodes because as it was mentioned some of the episodes are not chronological and i have looked at the mentioned episode and found that there is at least one more that needs to be mentioned. Episode 11-Sprout is before episode 1-proxy, and i believe this because stitch doesn't learn about cowboys until he goes to the fair so the lasso trick he uses doesn't make sense. I don't know how to add my IP or user info so I'll just say my name is Kyle. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.61.145.191 (talk) 08:34, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lax

[edit]

Ive never heard of that episode, and he was'nt in the official episode guide. -- It's an episode... It's only aired on Toon Disney... It hasn't aired on Disney Channel due to the fact that Recess is only on Toon Disney now...

It's aired at least once on The Disney Channel. I have a video capture of it dated 9/19/2006. Fortunate, I would hate to end up one episode short in the collection 66.159.205.135 (talk) 04:07, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Experiments Mentioned

[edit]

Does 626 really need to be listed in the Experiments Listed column? We should know that Stitch is in every episode.

I believe that Reuban (625) doesn't need to be listed in the experiments listed column because he is also a very common experiment, appearing in almost every episode. Walters1 00:52, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, he doesn't show up in EVERY episode. It was decided that 626 wouldn't be included since it would be redundant. Miriam The Bat 01:34, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How to add pictures.

[edit]

You guys seem to be having trouble adding pictures to the episode chart, so I will show you how.

This is what the code for one single episode looks like.

{{Episode list |Image=lilo and stitch s01e06.png

Here is where the image goes. All you have to do is put the file name, and it will automatically make the thumbnail the correct size. You don't need to add extra tags or anything!

Wheres the experiments mentioned colum

[edit]

Why does the experiments mentioned thing keep getting deleted

New Season 3: 2007-2008 Coment soon

There is no 3rd season as 'Snafu' was the final episode. I have seen no other news about there being a 3rd season, either.

Screenshots

[edit]

The screenshots in this article have been tagged as not having fair use rationale. Someone needs to give a fair use rationale for each or they will be deleted soon. --Minderbinder 13:41, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I putted on rationals for all the screenshots. I hope it's okay now. --Dannebrog Spy 21:03, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About Stitch!'s Episode List...

[edit]

This is Mendinso (on a different PC and too lazy to log in), who's currently the main contributer to the Stitch! Wiki. Basically, I was thinking about how the episode lists will be handeled for the series, whether or a seperate page or not. However, I then thought about the possibility of including the series episode list and summaries on this page, since it would probably be easier to maintain all the episode information between both series on one page. Although in doing so, we would probably have to change the name of the article.

I know this is a couple months before the airdate, but I figured it would be better to just get everything prepared and decided on before the airdate.

Anyone think this a good idea? 96.236.146.9 (talk) 14:29, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whoa, whoa, whoa...

[edit]

Every episode after Snafu is fake. I'm deleting them unless someone can cough up some proof.70.245.114.167 (talk) 14:03, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And someone BADLY messed up the page so that it now says there are six seasons. The revision history isn't working for me, and I don't know enough about the show's ACTUAL run to fix it myself. Can someone help? 70.245.114.167 (talk) 00:15, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And when I tried to fix more vandalism, everything beyond "P.J." wound up under "feature films" for some reason. What I'm seeing on the edit page is not what is appearing on the article, making it impossible to edit correctly. Someone needs to correct all this and then probably semi-protect the page. 70.244.106.126 (talk) 19:12, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There was a little code problem. The }| after season 2 should have been a |} . I have fixed it now. --Dannebrog Spy (talk) 07:29, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. 70.243.254.90 (talk) 21:48, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Order

[edit]

It looks as though there was some discussion about this a long time ago, but due to the amount of time that has passed, it seems like it might be a good idea to make this a separate topic. Anyway, the order of this list doesn't seem to make any sense. Why are all of the dates in a seemingly random order? For example, the episode listed as the first was actually the 32nd episode to air or something like that. Even if this was meant to meet some supposed chronological order for the episodes, I have no idea where whoever put them in this order would have gotten the information that would have allowed the episodes to be sorted in this way. And as far as I know, the fictional chronological order of the episodes should have no bearing on the order in which they are listed here - all that should matter is the air date. Removal of interpretive content (original research) and other in-universe trivia

[edit]

In this edit I removed a chunk of interpretive content whereby and editor or editors have attempted to decipher the series' continuity. The section is entirely unsourced and constitues original research. It's common for cartoons to have "reset buttons", which enable characters and events to reset to where they were before an episode complication. For instance, if a character has a birthday in the series, that doesn't necessarily mean the character has increased by 1 year. If the series is not serialized, this is especially true. Lack of sourced content describing the series either as a serialized show or as one-off episodes further complicates matters. Regardless, it's not our job to apply our own personal interpretations to establish meaning to the series. Maybe this is suitable for inclusion at Wikia, but it is not suitable here.

I also removed a section that attempts to relate in-universe holidays with real-world holidays. Again, this is interpretive, but it's also unnecessary to have a standalone list for this. If the holidays are noteworthy, the significance of the holidays would be presented clearly in episode plot summaries, where it would be easy for readers to infer meaning without being spoonfed our interpretations. Experiment mentioned content

[edit]

I don't understand the purpose of the Experiment mentioned content that appears in the plot summaries. The point of our list of episodes is to communicate broadly what the series is about to someone who isn't familiar with the series. A casual reader is not going to understand the significance of "Experiment mentioned" and it's unclear why we are logging this information. Looks like random trivia. Again, this might be better suited for Wikia, but I don't see the relevance here. I propose it be cut. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:30, 28 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
