Here is a source that confirms notability and her connection to Alpha Kappa Alpha. Rublamb (talk) 15:56, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

Because this is one of the few FL (Feature List) status articles for a Greek letter organization, additions and edits must maintain a high standard. Members do not have to have an article in Wikipedia to be on this list, but they do need to meet the guidelines for notability. Meaning that there are enough sources to create an article for the individual (and some of those sources are cited in this article). In addition, there really needs to be a source that connects members to Alpha Kappa Alpha. At this time, there are many unsourced names on the list and/or individuals that do not meet notability based on a quick Google search.

I am in the process of cleaning up the list and will be removing individuals who do not appear to meet Wikipedia's standard notability. This is no reflection on the amazing accomplishments of these members—it just means that secondary sources are not readily findable. They can always be restored to the list once they have an article in Wikipedia OR someone takes the time to find and cite better sources (the individual or Alpha Kappa Alpha's website does not prove notability).
