I don't know why it didn't save the first time, but I think it's because you commented, which created an edit conflict that I didn't notice. Sorry for the delay. Anyway, here are my comments and suggestions:

  • Your images and sound sample are all fine.
  • "single on October 21, 2014, by Epic Records."—remove the second comma
  • "song and comprises of a throwback style rhythm "—Should be "song, and comprises a throwback style rhythm"
  • "Lyrically, the song tells off a cheating, lying, boyfriend while asserting Trainor's physical assets."— The "singer" tells off the boyfriend, not the song.
  • "and manifested her as a rival"—misuse of the word "manifested". Try "established."
  • "ten hit in New Zealand where"—comma after Zealand
  • "Its framework is based upon the "—Odd phrasing. Try "It mimics what takes place"
  • "music video shoot and "—comma after shoot
  • "YouTube creators and the first-ever music video"—Should be "YouTube creators, and was the first-ever music video"
  • "half-rapped format and comprises of "—Should be "half-rapped format, and comprises" (remove "of")
  • "Sonically the track"—comma after "Sonically"
  • "It comprises of a throwback style rhythm"—Should be "It comprised a throwback style rhythm"
  • "The lyrics tell off a cheating, lying, boyfriend: "If your lips are movin', then you're lyin', lyin', lyin, babe."—This is an interpretation of the song and so has to be attributed to someone in the text, like "According to Seventeen magazine." See WP:SUBJECTIVE and WP:ATTRIBUTEPOV.
  • "According to the sheet music published at Musicnotes,"—You, honestly, can remove this, as this is fact, and not opinion.
  • "The lyrics tell off a cheating..."—This sentence has to be attributed to Morgan Friedman
  • "The singer asserts her irreplaceable..."—This sentence has to be attributed to Mark Inocencio
  • "both planned and speculated"—If the plans were true, there no need to mention the speculation
  • "garnered adds from three monitored "—The way "adds" is used here is not commonly understood, so define it briefly in commas, or use a clearer, more well-known word or phrase
  • "Bradley Stern felt the song was an as "equally "—Remove "as"
  • The "Critical reception" section is well-written.
  • Single paragraph sections are generally frowned upon, so combine the "Critical reception" section with the "Commercial performance" section and simply call the new section "Reception". Combine the "Release" section with "Recording and composition" and call it "Production and release".
  • " Andelman suggested showcasing the behind"—remove "the"
  • "which is reminiscent to that of the musical The Rocky Horror Show. "—This is an opinion based on observation of various sources and needs to be credited to someone in the text. See WP:SYN.
  • "which resembles the sofas used for reality show So You Think You Can Dance."—Also needs to be attributed to someone
  • "The clip was billed as the first-ever music video to be created entirely by social influencers."—By whom?
  • "Its release resulted in an 11% spike in Trainor's Twitter followers, 15.8% growth in Facebook fans, 41.3% increase in Instagram followers and a near doubling of her Vine followers."—We don't know definitively if this video ALONE contributed to these increases, and even if they (unlikely) did, Wikipedia didn't do the research, so this conclusion needs to be attributed to Andrew Hampp.
  • "honed"—wrong use of that word. Try "summarized" or "called" or "said"
  • "and praised bright and"—Should be "and praised its bright and"
  • "music video "red hot".[1] While MTV"—While is a conjunction. It should be "music video "red hot",[1] while MTV"
  • "Bass" video and noted that the singer's"—comma after "video"
  • "While Mashable's Brian Anthony Hernandez opined"—Remove "While"
  • The "Live performances" section is strong.
  • The "Formats and track listings" section is solid.
  • The charts all look good.
  • The references look good.
  • External links are good.
  • Categories are great as well.

Comment/Support - The article seems to be in good shape, but I would suggest adding a source that the music video's backdrop is reminiscent to the Rocky Horror musical. IPadPerson (talk) 17:00, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
