I will be altering this list in the next few weeks... as far as I know, and read, women are not allowed to ascend to the throne of Liechtenstein. Only memebers of the princely family with the right to vote and stand for election in the family council can be Reigning Prince, and only men can vote or stand for election in the family council, and only men can vote in the princely family. Any comments? Cjrs 79 05:35, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sounds like a good idea, I would hate to have the information wrong. If you could, when you get the information, add a link to the bottom of the page, then if someone diagrees, they can read it for themselves. Prsgoddess187 18:17, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • Is it succession through the male line only? Can sons of female members be in the line of succession? Morhange 20:09, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
      • Succession is only through male line and always through the oldest dinastic line. If there are no males to inherite then the last reigning prince may adopt another male, but the law of the princely house makes no reference (as far as I am aware) of women inheriting. Moreover, women have no right to vote in the family council of the Princely Family, and only voting members can become reigning prince. Who knows maybe someday they'll change it, but I doubt it. Now, I have a question, can we write in the article the section of the house law that talks about succession?, And can someone add a link to the law? I don't know how to do it.Cjrs 79 00:03, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
