It makes zero sense that the page of people named Kroner has a link for Karl Kroner which is immediately redirected to the same page. If you’re going to have a link, it should be a link to a separate article called Karl Kroner.

There is also a Wikipedia page about someone named Karl Kröner (notice the unlaut), but as Karl Kröner was a different man from Karl Kroner, Wikipedia correctly does NOT redirect Karl Kroner to Karl Kröner. You guys got THAT right, but I still think that the “Karl Kroner” link-that-isn’t-a-link is a bit absurd and should be changed.

I have a little plan to fix it. I will do a small amount of internet research about this German doctor named Karl Kroner. And I’ll write up a very brief one-paragraph summary of his life, with sources cited.

Once I’ve done that, I will edit this article. I will delete the redirect and replace it with my one-paragraph summary, which will have its sources cited in the standard Wikipedia format.

At the top of my article, I’ll include the “not to be confused with” tab, and I’ll make it say, “not to be confused with Karl Kröner.

And once I’m done with that, the Kroner surname page’s link for Karl Kroner will link to an actual article about Karl Kroner, rather than an absurd link to itself.
