Kōichi Satō (actor) → Koichi Sato – According to Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Japan-related_articles#Modern_names we should "Use the form personally or professionally used by the person, if available in the English/Latin alphabet (this can include the spelling appearing on their official website or official social media profile, …)".

His name is written "Koichi Sato" (or "Sato Koichi", but English Wikipedia puts the family name last) on JFDB, his agency's site, Nikkatsu, Free Stone Productions, and so on. Tempjrds (talk) 02:24, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose Kōichi Satō (actor) → Koichi Sato (the actor is not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC of the Koichi Sato disambiguation page), but would support Kōichi Satō (actor) → Koichi Sato (actor). There are five men listed upon the Koichi Sato disambiguation page, with the other four men's names transliterated from Japanese into English without diacritics.
