I think this article right now needs major work. This is my opinion on how it should flow. Without objection over the next two days, I am going to implement it.

  • Introduction: Who he is, what he did. Short paragraph.
  • Early Life. Mention his earliest memories of his father's martyrdom. Travel to Utah.
  • Utah life. His missions. His other activities. His marriages.
  • General Authority. Called to serve in first presidency and as an apostle. His positions and accomplishments. Mention contemporary church history.
  • Church President. Mention historical events - Smoot Hearings, 1904 Manifesto, doctrinal clarifications
  • Books he authored. (I may be confusing him with Joseph Fielding Smith?)
  • Family life, connections with other church leaders, number of wives and children.
  • Quotes.
  • References: books about him, articles about him, and webpages about him.

Please let me know what you think. Jgardner 18:53, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
