Mars One

[edit]

Why does this article have a Mars One navigation box and in the Mars One category? There is no mention of the organization elsewhere in the article.--RadioFan (talk) 03:03, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Someone recently pruned the nav box (diff) throwing out a few babies with the bathwater. John Traphagan is listed at http://www.mars-one.com/about-mars-one/advisers as is Thais Russomano. Similarly, Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, Mary Roach and Gerard 't Hooft are listed at http://www.mars-one.com/about-mars-one/ambassadors. Christopher McKay, however, does seem to have disappeared from the Mars One site. Regardless of ones views of Mars One, the blue links at least ought to be restored to the nav box to make clear the reason for its and the categories inclusion on these pages. -Arb. Is the Mars One website the only place these people were mentioned? If so, that's a primary source which no longer exists which doesn't look help these wikipedia articles much.--RadioFan (talk) 02:43, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean by ""no longer exists"? If you follow the external link provided above, the Ambassadors page is still there as are the biography pages of each listed individual. Or, you know, you could Google "John Traphagan" + "Mars One"; here you go; 368 results. -Arb. (talk) 11:46, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
