Ruttonjee and Hong Kong brewing[edit]

AFAIK Ruttonjee was not involved with the brewery in Hong Kong that was shipped to Manila in 1913, which had actually been founded in 1908 by an Englishman from Honolulu. That brewery in any case was not sold to San Miguel until 1919. See Hong Kong Daily Press, 15th May 1913 p3; and here.

Nor did Ruttonjee "found another brewery in 1948" - he helped found one in Hong Kong in 1930, which was finally sold to San Miguel in 1948. See China Mail, 29th November 1930 p1; Hong Kong Daily Press 12th December 1935 p7; and Hongkong Telegraph May 21 1948 p5. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zythophile (talkcontribs) 05:48, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

education[edit]

"...studied at St. Joseph's College..." inconsistent with Chinese version which states that he studied and graduated from Queen's College. Tony Ho (talk) 01:40, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Could this be a mixup with "Dhunjisha Jehangir Ruttonjee"? Tony Ho (talk) 01:58, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
