This player does not have a profile on the WTA website. However, there is a record of her name spelled as "Jedrzejowska" on the official records of Wimbledon (here), regarding the Womens' singles final of 1937, which she lost. Therefore, I'm basing the move on this verification that the English-speaking world adopts said spelling of the player's name. Redux (talk) 14:47, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

[edit]

The name of this article should be changed to "Jadwiga Jedrzejowska" because that is the name used on the English-language websites of the following Grand Slam tournaments that she won or was the runner-up: French Open (Roland Garros), Wimbledon, U.S. Championships singles, U.S. Championships women's doubles. That is also the name used on the English-language website of the International Tennis Hall of Fame and in Hollander, Zander; Collins, Bud (1994). Bud Collins' Modern Encyclopedia of Tennis. Detroit, MI: Visible Ink Press. p. 471.
