Relevance[edit]

This article doesn't argue for its own relevance. It should have some relevance beyond being a hypothetical invention registered as a patent. Is is discussed in relevant literature? After some research, it seems most sources agree that the illusion transmitter is still used by NASA today. Some sources note that it is being adapted to be used in a surgical context.
