Product placement

[edit]

Someone deleted the following paragraph from the article several days ago (without much warrant). I think it is relevant so I'll place it here; the amount did seem rather extreme and therefore notable. Others can decide for themselves:

In the finished film, several named products may be seen or heard discussed by the characters. These include the iPhone, iTunes, iMac, Heineken beer, San Pellegrino Mineral Water, T.G.I. Friday's, P.F. Chang's, Bennigan's, Legoland California, HBO premium cable, Facebook, and Lost (season 2) DVD.[1][2][3] Also, several movies such as The Devil Wears Prada, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium and Chocolat.

Also noted but not referenced anywhere that I can tell were the Sybian vibrator and Volkswagen cars. Verne Equinox (talk) 23:03, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is product placement in every movie, I don't think this is really important. In an article the director said that he didn't mean for the product placement just that real people do these things so he wanted to put them in the movie. I have a lot of the articles here --PeppageBRAINS! 03:27, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Song?

[edit]

What's the song in the concert with Rudd & Seagel. (JoeLoeb (talk) 22:31, 13 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Removed uncited praise

[edit]

I removed this line:

One critic called it "the most probing movie of the male psyche since Fight Club."

...which was marked as refence needed since April. It was added here.[1]

A quick google news and web search pulls up no hits for this quote. 69.138.168.37 (talk) 02:22, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
