Did you know nomination[edit]

  • ... that the team of British women codebreakers sent to France during the First World War were nicknamed the Hush WAACs?

What a great little article! Never heard of this before and I think most readers will find it intriguing. DYK Check shows 2300 chars of body, but that's not accounting for the names so I'm going to give it a definite bye. New enough, well cited, GTG. Maury Markowitz, EEHalli, the hooks need tweaking because they contain links to the disambiguation pages First World War and Government Code and Cypher School, can one of you fix them? TSventon (talk) 16:41, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@TSventon: seems to have been fixed already. Maury Markowitz (talk) 17:09, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you @TSventon: and @Maury Markowitz:. I normally do biogs for women in red so this was a different format for me. EEHalli (talk) 17:22, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: I strongly recommend ALT2, although perhaps with "initially" removed. Maury Markowitz (talk) 18:29, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Happy with any version being adopted. It is important to be clear that Anderson was never shipped to join the other Hush WAACs in France but was sent to the London office instead. So long as that isn't lost, happy with the suggested amend. EEHalli (talk) 15:16, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
