Oppose The article is a decent size and likely will continue to grow over the next several days. I anticipate this article to be around 18-22k once I complete it. Merging this into the season article would only bloat it up while removing content would not give the storm due justice. This storm has a lot of meteorological history as it became a major hurricane 3 times despite the odds being stacked against it. It is honestly a remarkable system and deserves the article. Furthermore, Norman has received decent news coverage in Hawaii and within the mainland. Figfires^{Send me a message!} 21:45, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
