Reviewer Note[edit]

There do not appear to be adequate secondary independent sources. However, the basis of accepting a draft as an article is whether the article will probably be kept at Articles for Deletion. In my opinion, this one almost certainly will, and the subject almost certainly is a notable figure. The fact that the European Committee for Sport History has an annual address given in his memory is an indication of his notability. I am accepting this draft as an article.
