Demographics

[edit]

"majority of the Honduran population is mestizo (a mixture of Amerindian and European) having more predominant Amerindian ancestry and features with little, if any, white ancestry. Mestizos make up 90% of the population, or up to 6.8 million." 96.37.41.106 (talk) 21:38, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Once again, cite you sources. It's garbage until then. Iamanadam (talk) 21:23, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Possible original research

[edit]

I have tagged the line "This would suggest that Hondurans are one of the groups in Central America with the highest European genetic contribution, mainly Iberian, surpassed only by Costa Rica, considered this only “white” country in the region." as possible original research. There is no mention of "whiteness" in the full paper that provided the statistic [1]. Rinbro (talk) 22:01, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

National Adjectives Not Capitalized

[edit]

I'm going to change "Catracho" and "Catracha" to "catracho" and "catracha" because in Spanish, national adjectives and nicknames (like the names of languages), aren't capitalized. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/catracho. Mpaniello (talk) 11:24, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
