Created[edit]

I created this article to support two Gutenberg authoe links, after doing about one hour of web research. I am not the guy who wrote the book whose web site I used as a reference, and I knew nothing of the subject or of that book prior to the start of my research.

This article is stub. If someone has access to the book, please use it to expand the article.Ideally, the author of the book will find and expand this article.

New topic: One way I used to determine "notability" was to search for "Altemus" on Wikipedia. I got many, many hits, citing "Altemus" as the publisher of references in articles. this is (sort of) WP:OR, but it's borderline, so I added a sentence in the article If this is a problem, please discuss.

Confusing Henry Altemus and his company[edit]

This article is written with at least some confusion between Henry Altemus, the owner and publisher, and his company. The sources provide ample information about both, and Henry's father, Joseph.
