Language and Census[edit]

It strikes me as odd that the article presently states the "overwhelming majority" speak Tibetan not Mongolian, but the 2000 census is 89% Mongol population. Maybe I lack knowledge about the relationship between ethnic identity and language that explains this apparent contradiction, and the article is not wrong, but if so that should be added to the article. If the article just contradicts itself then it should be fixed. In either way the article needs work. --Keithonearth (talk) 18:52, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
