Confused?

[edit]

So far as I can tell, the current house - the listed building - is called Hadnock Court House - http://www.coflein.gov.uk/en/site/402652/details/HADNOCK+COURT+HOUSE%2C+NE+OF+MONMOUTH/. In my view, that should be the name of the article, and the focus of the article. We should then go on to explain that it takes its name from a previous house, called Hadnock Court, that was demolished - and say a bit about the history of that house. As written now, the article is very confusing. Ghmyrtle (talk) 11:08, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

PS: I've now attempted to clarify it, and included much of the historical background from the GGAT page. My own view - having done that - is that this article should be renamed Hadnock, and reshaped accordingly. There is much more that an encyclopedia can say about an area, like Hadnock, than can be said about an obscure and relatively unimportant listed building! So you are proposing a change of the article name from Hadnock Court to Hadnock, yes? Martinevans123 (talk) 17:02, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds very sensible. And I agree it's far from the most notable listed house. KJP1 (talk) 17:48, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
