Scandinavian Biker wars

[edit]

I just deleted the wrong statement about a supposed involvement of the Gremium MC in the scandinavian biker wars. There was no such involvement. Before 2014 the Gremium MC was never active in Scandinavia. Thus they never participated in the scandinavian biker wars.

The provided link to the "Nordsee is dead, and thus doesnt prove anything.

However, since the 2000s there were conflicts between Gremium MC and Bandidos MC in germany, but that is an entirely different story. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.186.140.79 (talk) 21:21, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information cited to now-ead links is to be trusted per WP:AGF unless there is compelling evidence otherwise. You can try to find it in an archive if you like to verify, or to try to find another source to contribute new information. No one's stated personal knowledge doesn't trump what Nordsee Zeitung published. — Brianhe (talk) 04:19, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
But the "Nordsee-Zeitung" never wrote anything like that! Their website is alive, and has some articles about Gremium MC in northern germany, but nothing like this. Also it is almost impossible to find any sources about something that never happened. You just make a claim, supported by no evidence at all, and demand "good faith" for that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.186.140.47 (talk) 11:55, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
A bit of googeling made me find this: [Revierkämpfe im Milieu|http://www.cn-online.de/lokales/news/revierkaempfe-im-milieu.html] This article has the same title and the same date as the dead link, but it is not from the "Nordsee-Zeitung", but from the "Cuxhavener Nachrichten", which is located nearby at the german north sea coast. It is the ornly article with this title from the same date, a similar article from the "Nordsee-zeitung" does not exist.
It reports about a conclict between Gremium MC and Hells Angels MC in Bremerhaven. Later in the article, the scandinavian biker war is also mentioned as a comparison. And there is a sentence, that might be misinterpreted, if you are not good at reading german. Translation: "According to estimations of the criminal police, the rivalry of the Hells Angels against the Gremium is not as explosive as against the Bandidos. In Scandinavia, both grous delivered bloody battles already in the 1990's (...)". If you are not as good at understanding grman, you might mistake the term "bo groups" as referrring to an involvement of the Gremium in scandinavia. Actually, it means, in comparison, that the hostility between Bandidos and Hells Angels is much worse than the hostility between Gremium and Hells Angels.
I hope, you can accept this as a bit of evidence.
