Beginning rewrites in anticipation of new translation's publication[edit]

Recently read the first book as translated by William Granara. Having discovered that this page has lots of issues, especially considering that a lot of information seems to be taken from a poorly translated version of this reference, I am beginning the process of rewriting the page. I need to take time to find more references.

I will hypothesize that the books will receive more attention (including reviews) as a new translation of the entire trilogy by Kay Heikkinen is to be published by the American University in Cairo Press in November 2024. Hopefully that will provide more material for improvement of this page. I suspect much more people will be drawn to the page, now that the entire trilogy will be available in English for the first time ever. SCSQ3 (talk) 07:38, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
