By geography most of China is People's Republic of China. Is there any particular reason why we need two largely duplicated articles on more or less the same subject? uhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... idk! Heimm Old (talk) 18:20, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Most" is not good enough. It is untenable to ignore the geopolitical significance of the self-declared Republic of China (Taiwan), regardless of whether you think it should be/is/will be a state. NPOV requires at least the articles we have, Geography of China, Geography of the People's Republic of China, and Geography of Taiwan Superm401 - Talk 06:16, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • The page Geography of China should be deleted, with the correct sections being merged into this article or georaphy of Taiwan. There's no reason why we should have Geography of China (it's like creating an article called Geography in Britain (for the region which is Great Britain and Brittany) and then creating a page called Geography in Great Britain (the Island). In other words, this is one of the most pointless sets of two pages.User:Spacevezontalk 16:18, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
