Low importance?

[edit]

Not sure why this would be categorized as of low importance to the WikiOregon project - the Asian population in the state is significant and the largest Asian mall, anchored by a large Asian grocery and in the "new Chinatown" area of Portland, seems like something worthy of the Mid importance status. "This article is of little importance to this project, but it covers a highly specific area of knowledge or an obscure piece of trivia." vs "This article is relatively important to this project, as it fills in some more specific knowledge of certain areas." The latter seems much more appropriate to me. Thanks for the edits but the abscence of an article on Fubonn seemed like a meaningful oversight to me and the shopping center is an important part of contemporary Oregon's culture, I'd argue. I just edited it to Mid importance. I don't mean to be a jerk about it and if my argument doesn't hold up to the process, let me know, but barring reason to act otherwise, I'm going to take the liberty to change that. The 2nd place 1916 Oregon Ducks football team's stub article is judged a mid and this certainly seems more important to me. Marshallkirkpatrick (talk) 07:37, 26 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
