I'm starting a discussion here in order to avoid an edit war over the use of the {{bare urls}} template. The article contains only bare urls. That it, none of them contain full citations.
An editor added the bare url template as a result - which encourages the urls to be replaced with proper citation in order to avoid future link rot. The author of the article removed the templates for various incorrect rationales. The last one is that there is no link rot. That's not the point. The point is that citations are required to avoid link rot. Singularity42 (talk) 21:46, 31 March 2012 (UTC)
