In December 2014 somebody proposed merging Fault-tolerant computer system with Robustness (computer science). I'm going to remove the tag suggesting a merger since it's now March 2016 and I don't see any discussion on the merger. My personal opinion about the merger is that we don't do it because robustness is slightly different. For instance robustness emphasizes invalid input more than handling faults, "Another finding was that most studies focus on a very narrow definition of robustness. Most studies only consider the invalid input aspect of robustness and neglect other more complex aspects like time outs, interrupts and robustness problems related to the execution environment of the software."[1] makeswell (talk) 20:53, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
