name ambiguous[edit]

world.guns.ru (link mentioned in article) has much interesting info which would be nice in the article:

  • "This pistol can be called as a forerunner of most semi-automatic pistols in the world, in one or another respect."
  • "Significantly underpowered by modern standards"
  • "Barrel is locked to the frame by several radial ribs."

It's a bit hidden in the mentioning of "blowback", but I think should be explicitly stated somewhere in the article that the barrel is fixed to the frame during operation, and that the breech is not locking in any way like they do in all modern handguns. Of course this is connected to the cartridge being considered as weak by modern standards.
