- Is Melville a proper name of his or is it a nickname? If the latter, then tell the reader as much.
- It is a proper name and he was known as Melville, rather than Ernest, his father's name.
- What relevance is the info on his brother?
- Family info. I'm moving it to the family section. It serves to illustrate something about the person, time and place. Twin sons both killed in WWII.
- Generally it's better to stick to a strict chronology for narrative history, so I'd integrate his promotions into the career section.
- There's a dearth of actual dates in this article. When did he go back to Rhodesia and return to England. Dates of assignment to his various squadrons would also be useful. And when was his final combat?
- I will add in dates where I can find them. They should mostly be available.

- Your changes mostly look good, although I still question the relevance of the details of his brother's service. If his brother's fate had motivated him to join up, there'd be no questions of its relevance, but otherwise, I just don't see it. It would be also be relevant, in a more compressed manner, in his father's article, if any, but not here. I suggest that you look through other articles on DFC winners and see how often the military service of siblings is mentioned.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 16:45, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
