Scheduled Flights

[edit]

Any more details on which scheduled flights there was and where to. Astrotrain 17:43, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In the late 1990's a British Airways subsidiary operated a once-a-week summer charter to Jersey, but I cannot substantiate this unfortunately. I don't believe that there have ever been scheduled flights, though the Council and airport owners are reportedly in talks with different airlines now and again. Problem is, the only planes suitable at the moment are turboprops like Dash-8's. It is rumoured that the runway may be extended to accommodate A319's and B737's, which would allow more planes to land. Dmccormac (talk) 18:50, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merger request

[edit]

The suggestion that the current St Angelo airfield article be merged here has no real merit. The said article should be renamed RAF St Angelo and left to stand alone, as are the other RAF station articles. 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 02:11, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Makes enough sense to me. --Giuliopp (talk) 10:06, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. I thought it would, I stayed up all night working on it. I now have the urge to do the same for the airport article, the RAF Castle Archdale one and the non-existant RAF Killadeas page, but I need some sleep first. 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 10:38, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
