Conflict of Interest edit request[edit]

This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.

The year of birth, listed as 1985, is incorrect.

The statement "Washuta's mother had Cowlitz Tribe ancestry" is misleading: the more accurate statement would be, "Washuta's mother is a member of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe." The term "ancestry" suggests descendancy rather than membership. Elissa Washuta is a member of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe, and enrollment requirements include a parent's enrollment.^[1]^[2]

Category: University of Maryland, Baltimore County alumni is incorrect. The correct campus is College Park.^[3]
