House of Burgundy is a different one[edit]

There is the Elder House of Welf and the House of Welf and so on, what is the problem? I write in the page that after the Elder House of Burgundy (kings), came the branch Capet-Burgundy (House of Burgundy) and the branch of Valois-Burgundy (House of Valois-Burgundy), both dukes. You can say 1st creation of the House, 2nd, 3rd. But the page Kingdom of the Burgundians has no name for the dynasty and the family needs one to be referred. If you have another name, rename the page Elder House of Burgundy. However the name is Genealogicaly correct. ΑνδρόνικοςΠαλαιολόγος (talk) 12:02, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia shouldn't make up names, and there is little reason to have two articles which basically tell the same story. Oh, and the family tree seems wrong anyway, e.g. Suavegotha is the daughter of Sigismund, not of Godomar III (who should be Godomar II according to the article we have). In any case, the name "Elder House of Burgundu" is already in use in the literature for a later dynasty, you should find and use the name commonly associated with this dynasty as a starting point, and even then there doesn't seem any need to have this as a separate page, better to add anything that is missing (and is eliably sourced!) to Kingdom of the Burgundians.
