Poisons

[edit]

I removed the instructions on handling poisons, because they were dangerous and wrong. Old text was suggesting reusing the sponge from the print cartridge (with no way to confirm it was properly cleaned), but cautioning to clean the print heads because the trace amounts of ink on there could kill (which is true: for example, latex allergies could kill, with the wrong kind of ink). Even without the bad advice, advising people how to perform surgery on printer cartridges isn't really on topic for a page about edible paper - edible images might be more appropriate, but a new page on edible ink would be better. Even there, though, howtos on poisons probably is not the domain of Wikipedia. Also, added misc other info. DewiMorgan (talk) 05:58, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

I think this page should merge with edible images. Both pages are really small, and both topics overlapping. better to have one good page than two poor ones. I think both pages could go under the title of Edible inkjet printing. Because this is the larger page, this page should be what is merged to than moved. Got a go ahead by the founder of the page Kainaw (see here. I am really bored because I am snowed in. I am going to make the appropriate move now. Oldag07 (talk) 18:52, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
