Redirect

[edit]

This article presently redirects to Bob Dylan. That makes no sense to me. I suspect that this article may have been originally started as a vanity article by A. J. Weberman, who edits here as User:Ajweberman. But it seems to me that either a stub or deletion would be more fitting than a redirect to Dylan. --Leatherstocking 01:27, 25 September 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Why is the re-direct protected? I would propose a re-direct to A. J. Weberman, since re-directing to Dylan confers upon the term a degree of notability and legitimacy that I think is inappropriate. --Leatherstocking (talk) 01:16, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It was protected to stop the recreation of a deleted page (see the tag I've added to the top). I unprotected as it probably there's no need for it now. Also, I guess there's no problem keeping a redir to A. J. Weberman (it's mentioned there) so I changed it too. - Nabla (talk) 18:31, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this page was deleted by AfD, should'nt it be re-deleted because of WP:CSD#G4!? John Sloan (talk) 18:41, 15 August 2008 (UTC) -- Never mind, that re-direct is perfectly reasonable! John Sloan (talk) 18:43, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That was my line of thinking exactly! - Nabla (talk) 19:02, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
