Is facebook a reliable source
[edit]Duncan is "in a relationship" with Jo Swinson, but the only reference I can find are their facebook pages saying so. Is it a reliable source, given that they are writing about themselves? Richard Gadsden (talk) 13:35, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
Well, there's this http://www.joswinson.org.uk/articles/000007/third_time_lucky_as_jo_becomes_youngest_mp.html from Jo's own web site, written in 2005, and then this article http://elections.edelman.co.uk/2010/03/chippenham-the-black-farmer-vs-the-lib-dem-apparatchick/ from Election 2010. So I think it's reliable. (Of course we could just ask them, or friends who know them, but I guess that would be 'Original Research'...) -- dww
And now - engaged. Ref: http://www.libdemvoice.org/hames-swinson-to-wed-20008.html (20 Jun 2010) --dww
- A blog, and although better than some, still unacceptable as a source in a biography. Rodhullandemu 23:18, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
